January 22 | Marking the beginning of Anti-Fascist Grand Conference in Kolkata RYA, AISA, AICCTU, AIPWA, AIARLA and other left and progressive groups organised a massive march with the clarion call to defend the constitution, democracy and the republic. The rally reverberated with the slogans against BJP-RSS's relentless assault on people's lives and livelihood.

The march was joined by CPI(ML) General Secretary Com. Dipankar, human rights activist Teesta Setalvad, former Bombay High Court judge BG Kolse Patil, anti-communal campaigner Harsh Mander, scientist and poet Gauhar Raza, historian and author Maroona Murmu, civil libertarian Sujato Bhadra and leaders of several progressive organisations. The conference will be held today at Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata followed by a mass outreach campaigns.
